Here is the Delay of the Dead this month. As usual, we have so many delays from the big 3, Alter, GSC/Max Factory, and Orchidseed. And sadly we have one really lovely figure got canned. =(

No big surprise for me at all to see these figures from lAter show up here in DOD. For all the figures that were originally scheduled to be released in October in the first place, only Kotobuki Tsumugi is going to be release this month (Oct 27). We don’t always see Bandai appear in DoD. Well it doesn’t mean they are always on time, it’s just means that we don’t have much figure by Bandai here. =P Since they’re postpone this Senjougahara Hitagi from October to November, are they gonna postpone the Hanekawa Tsubasa from November to December in the next month too? |

I just notice that we don’t see Griffon Enterprises much lately. They were really active in the beginning of the year for all of their Touhou figures and the new Figutto action figures. But it seems like they’re dead in these few months. Update (Oct 22): How kind Griffon is! Usually the manufacturers will not tell use they’re going to delay their figure until last minute, but Griffon actually telling us the this delay news 1 month ahead! Thank you Griffon. |

Here you goes again for the Black Roch Shooter curse! For some reason all the Black Rock Shooter figures were being delayed!!! Btw, the figma Dead Master is supposed to be release on October 22. I saw her in the GSC release schedule last week, but for some reason she isn’t on the list now. Let’s hope that they don’t delay the figma Dead Master too. =( |

Here comes the saddest news this month. Yes, Kotobukiya is canceled this lovely Sorami Kanata figure!!!! (@@. Kotobukiya didn’t really tell us the reason of cancellation. All they said was “Due to Various reasons, we need to cancel the Sorami Kanata 1/8 PVC figure which was schuduled to be release in November 2010.” Most likely they didn’t get enough per-order so they decided to cancel her. Poor Kanata. =(

I’ve got to the point now that I simply assume there will be a 60 to 90 day delay with every order, this way I can make sure to have enough in the bank to cover the expense(s) if they manage to ship the bleedin’ things on time.

So to my customers always I say the figures will come a month after, at least since the beginning they know it. If is released before good look for them. =D
