For those how bought the Black Rock Shooter Animation Version 1/8 PVC figure by Good Smile Company, you may notice that the star on her jacket is missing. But don’t worry, yours is not the only one. This is a mistake made by Good Smile Company.

Good Smile Company provided two options to fix it.
- Option 1: Sticker Method
Good Smile Company will mail you a sheet of stars sticker and you can fix it yourself. Good Smile Company will start mailing out the sticker on November 19. - Option 2: Mending Method
You mail back your Black Rock Shooter figure to Good Smile Company and they will fix (put the sticker on) it for you. Please note that it will take 3-4 weeks for them to fix.
Either way, you need to fill out the form in Good Smile Company online here ( https://whl4u.jp/goodsmile/brs/form/ ). For those who can’t read Japanese, don’t worry, I made the following image for you. =D

If you ask me this is an incredibly sloppy mistake by GSC…are the “stickers” actually decals or are they just cheap little stars?

BRS without a star is like Superman without his “S” symbol.
I’m actually surprised they made a simple mistake like that. And wasn’t this BRS delayed too? They should’ve fixed it when it was delayed.
The fact that she was delayed makes everything so much worse. If you need to take forever to get a figure out there, then do it, but it should come out near perfect, don’t make a glaring mistake.
I would soo sent her back. The star is essential to the Black Rock *star* Shooter. It’s a gross oversight by a reputable company. If they can’t even get things right, how do we differentiate bewtween real and chinese bootleg??
The bootleg has a rather ugly face mold and everything but it got some things right like the presence of the star and pure white stripe boots(the original had an ugly yellow color)
I ordered this figure through Hobbysearch, and they have already shipped it. Would I still be able to get the sticker sheet somehow? I doubt GSC would send the stickers to a US address. I plan on emailing HS tomorrow, just wondering if anyone else knew what to do.
In the form, it does say “Please write in the order of street, city state, zip, country for foreign countries outside of Japan” in the address field. So I do believe GSC will ship us the sticker even we’re not in Japan.

Those who have bought from AmiAmi, they have sent an email out to customers informing them that their stars will either be shipped with the figure or after the figure.
What is the line between address and comments for? phone number?
Seems they updated the form and added that line.
Oh, GSC, you’ve done it again. If you keep this up, everyone will know you not for quality, but missing printing details. World is Mine anyone?
What’s funnier is that they only bothered to apologize because BRS is their star product and the one generating the most revenues right now.
They never apologized for the terrible lack of quality control on their other recent figures.
I just got the figure and the star wasn’t too big of a deal, honestly. Though I think its funny how you can put it on yourself or wait 3-4 weeks for them to. I’m always scared to put them together in case I break something, so I have my dad do it for me. He was putting the cannon on and the place where it goes on broke from the weight. Anyone else have this problem? o.e; Also, the belt is green.. don’t think it should be like that either, ha. Should have been delayed longer x.x
I recently bought this.. and they chraged me sutom duty fee….
it was my first time getting fees for duty for the figures… which sucked and the seller didnt know nothing about the missing star.. what the freak… this sucks lol

Yes, but it is rare for it to happen if customs opens your package for inspection you may be charged a duty fee.
Depends on where country you’re in.
I’m in Canada and I got charged custom fee once in 2-3 months. Custom sux! =(
