Griffon Enterprises is going to release the Eternally Young Scarlet Moon Remilia Scarlet ( 永遠に紅い幼き月 レミリア・スカーレット ) Divine Spear ver. ( 神槍ver. ) 1/7 PVC figure from the doujin danmaku shooting game series “Touhou Project” ( 東方プロジェクト ) by the circle Team Shanghai Alice ( 上海アリス幻樂団 ). Will be released in August 2010. Around 245mm tall, around 400mm long for the spear, 9,800 yen.

Remembered I said this Remilia Scarlet Divine Spear ver. looks like Nagae Iku cosplaying Remilia? The fans in Japan actually think that she looks like Yasaka Kanako. Well, both Nagae Iku and Yasaka Kanako are old ladies so it doesn’t make any difference. =P

Ok. I take back what I said about the face…it gets weirder the more I look at it. Still an awesome figure though and would buy it for sure.
OH NO – a closeup of the face makes me think this one was done by the sculptor who ruined griffon’s upcoming Reisen Udongein Inaba figure =X Its the mouth thats too wide on Reisen and now this Remilia that hurts the overall badassery…
I do like everything else – the clothes, hair, the spear, flames, the base that is not just a boring black or brown circle like other figures, but the face =X
I’m still getting this Remilia Preorder but this would have been 100% epic if he got her innocent but devilish face correct.
I agree with the multitude of comments here, everything looks so awesome EXCEPT the face…. :c It’s really scary how long that mouth is!
I think I’m still gonna get this despite the face, the more I look at it the less it bothers me. I don’t think the mouth looks too wide, its just that the way her bangs and hat are done, it makes her face look really squashed. Oh well, I’ve been waiting for a really good, non-GK Remilia figure for a while now. 🙂
