Evolution Toy is going to release the FullPuni ( ふるプニっ) Figure Series No.2 Katja [Ekaterina Kurae] ( カーチャ [エカテリーナ=クラエ] ) non-scale action figure from the manga/anime “The Qwaser of Stigmata” ( 聖痕のクェイサー ). Will be released in June July 2010. Around 170mm tall, 8,381 yen. Castoffable.
Althought the images didn’t show it, this Katja actio figure is actually castoffable. She actually comes with replacement parts of exposed chest and waist for you to make her nake. Beside the chest and waist, she also comes with 3 extra set of hands and 3 extra facial expression for you to play with. =]
I don’t watch “The Qwaser of Stigmata” so I know nothing about Katja. Seems like she is those kind of bitchy evil princess character like loli girl. It’s pretty hard to imagine she is voiced by Aya Hirano. Maybe I should watch the anime some day. Btw, is she really a loli or just a grownup woman with a loli body?

Nah…I’ve never seen the anime. But I really like Katija’s character design. I would buy her if she weren’t so expensive ):3
Mentality of a grown-up, but stuck in a loli body is about right. Think of her as the ‘S’ in “S&M”. But kinda hard, since Hirano is voicing her.
Exactly what ExtrovertedOtaku says.
I’m actually starting to get kinda annoyed from hearing Hirano’s voice in every character lately…
Anyway, Qwaser is something you should watch only (an I mean it) for extreme fanservice so I’d suggest waiting for DVDs if you’re interested. Or the Director’s Cut editions of TV. It’s actually quite funny how hard they try to be suggestive in the series 😛 I dropped it after episode 4-5 i think.
Bu while watching the series I had thought either Ekaterina or Tomo could get many figure incarnations. So far Ekaterina has 2 on the way, Tomo and Mafuyu 1.
This Ekaterina’s expression is much better than the other one but I’m not a fan of joints.
Agree, if you gonna watch it just think of it for fun no point in trying to find the answer of what they’re doing, I heard the manga is much better but the anime have a pretty good action scene though.
Meh you guys aren’t big enough pervs…I for one enjoy the hell out of it! :p
If you just view it as a hentai it becomes immeasurably more fun to watch. ~_^
If anyone is ever picking up this series, do your self a favour and DELETE the Coalguys or any TV broadcast vers. The webcast does more justice to the manga adaptation and women’s nether regions. But all in all, I still love my Mio, even if she ended up as a dorei =S
LOL, it seems like it’s a good for nothing anime if you’re not looking for fanservice. Maybe I’ll try to get the director’s cut edition and see if I like it.
Let me put it this way: I actually enjoyed Queen’s Blade’s events more than Qwaser 😀 But yeah, the animation is better than expected.
@Ashlotte
lol i’m not a guy so… 🙂
@ExtrovertedOtaku
As far as I know there are 2 TV versions and one of them is the uncensored (as much as they could) Director’s Cut.
The web version is probably that because in that case they’d have to make 3 versions of 1 episode and that’ll mean they’ll make another 4th for the DVD/BS – which I don’t think the budget for such a series would allow :/
Even if they could, check out the episode compares at some sites. It’s hilarious what they cover up in one version and totally go for it in another :DD
lol typo 😛 I meant “BD” up there^
