WAVE is going to release the DreamTech Nagi ( ナギ ) 1/7 PVC figure from the manga/anime “Kannagi (Crazy Shrine Maidens)” ( かんなぎ ). Will be released in February 2009. Around 230mm tall, 7,140 yen.

Nagi in swimsuit! Um… is it just me or this figure makes her looks kinda fat? I think her lower half body are super-sized. But still, I think she looks so much better than the Kotobukiya one that I posted yesterday. This figure is base on the GK below. The sculptor are the same person so there are no copyright issue. =P If WAVE release the PVC version for the below GK, I bet they gonna sold her 10 times better than this swimsuit version. =P

I’m not sure I understand… are they releasing both the regular outfit and the swimsuit or just the swimsuit? I’d rather get the regular outfit one…
I agree, I really like the normal clothing one, not the swim suit one. I would love to see some more Kannagi figures.

I think this figure of Nagi has some normal, healthy but still slim proportions. I much prefer this look over how skinny characters get sometimes in anime shows like Sky Girls, Strawberry Panic, and Kaibutsu Oujo.
I have to agree that the regular outfit is much better looking. I also hope they’ll be releasing both versions. However, I think the face on the Kotobukiya looks better and more Nagi-like, but I don’t care for the cat outfit much.
