FREEing is going to release the Akiyama Mio ( 秋山 澪 ) Limited Edition 1/8 PVC figure from the manga/anime “K-ON!” ( けいおん！ ). Will be released in July 2010. Around 200mm tall, 7,800 yen (taxed in) + shipping & handling. TBSishop and Hobby Channel exclusive. Only 2,000 pieces will be available.

Jeez, I feel bad for die hard K-On! fans that can’t get her xD I have never watched K-On! but that video just about killed me LOL
when I first saw her I thought that her mouth looked weird. it looks like she’s trying to smile but the way the mouth is shaped just makes her look odd :-/
Darn. I don’t like this figure much at all. The pose is cute and of course I love moe Mio, but the face is weird, the skirt is dull and the arm placement kind of bothers me. I want her because she’s limited, though. xD

In an anime it works, because a second later, the pose is gone, heh.
This looks beyond terrible. In animation, it was fine, but in a figure, her face looks like an abomination. I pity anyone who actually spends money on this and if you do, I recommend covering that face with a paper bag.
She looks good, but I think I like the regular version better. Already have her on pre-order, but she looks better with her eyes open. :p
I always thought that her eyes were weird, so I kinda preffered this one, but now that I look closer, her pose is soo rigid, it doesn’t seems natural, I think I’ll pass on both, maybe I found them on discount later, but I don’t think so, there are a lot of k-on fans out there >.<
