MOVIC (manufactured by Kotobukiya) is going to release the Akiyama Mio ( 秋山 澪 ) Original Costume Ver. ( オリジナルコスチュームVer. ) 1/8 PVC figure from the manga/anime “K-ON!” ( けいおん！ ). Will be released in January 2010. Around 200mm tall, 6,800 yen.

Haha, this is the Akiyama Mio figure that I mentioned yesterday which everybody was laughing at. Remember that everyone was saying Mio is a clone of Isayama Yomi ( 諫山 黄泉 ) from Ga Rei ( 喰霊 )? They do have a great resemblance to each others and I guess the sculptor of this Mio figure was thinking the same thing. XD

Don’t get why everyone says they don’t like this one…To me it’s the best looking one I’ve seen of her so far. >_>
Dont know. To me she is somehow resemble Mio but not much but she is the best Mio-like one in market right now. I think no producer can catch her soul just like they did with Horo the fox.
I think it’s the best look Mio figure so far too. But like Rook said, she’s still not good enough.
I never heard of Isayama Yomi =\. I personally like alter version better, although I like the coloring for the bass for this one. Mio figures I’ve seen so far are lacking the “moe” factor; just a thought lol.
