Toy’s works is going to release the Isayama Yomi ( 諫山黄泉 ) non-scale PVC figure from the manga/anime “Ga-rei” ( 喰霊 ). Will be released in October 2009. Around 155mm tall, 5,524 yen.

Isayama Yomi, the tragic heroine in the Ga-rei Zero anime. I read the manga way before the anime so I used to hate Yomi. But I started to like her a lot when the anime aired and I felt so upset when I saw her turned into the dark side.

Since Ga-rei Zero was so popular in the last anime season, it’s very hard to believe that there are no Ga-rei figures in the market yet (beside those GK). If I didn’t miss anything, then this Yomi is the first Ga-rei figure available to the public. But she is really small, 155mm tall is only around 1/12 scale. Even thought she is only 5,524 yen, I still think it’s not worth it. =(
Btw, as many people always joke about it, Yomi and Mio (from K-ON!) have a great resemblance to each others and you can see a lot of Mio cosplay Yomi in some fanarts. XD

Looks pretty nice, but I hate so much 1/12 scale. 1/12 is garbage, and really, I think 5524 is way too much for a 1/12 figure. (if it’s that small, should be around 3000.)
I couldn’t stomach the manga, but loved the anime…Have about the same opinion as Marsh does though. Nice looking but at that size pass…

Yea that set looks really nice. But too bad they’re custom make by someone.
The sculpt isn’t that bad but there are lots of chance that Alter or another group will made one of her and Kaguuuura <3
Little Nue looks cute. They could’ve made her sword much sharper and touched up on the face. Thus, I’ll be waiting for some high-end company to produce a display worthy one.
I love the manga. I kinda stumbled on it accidentally while watching the anime so I was quite surprised that the anime happened to be the prologue. Loads of action and plot-twists, making most of the content enjoyable.
