Misaka Mikoto, Misaka Sister, Shirai Kuroko (left to right)
Here come Misaka Mikoto, Misaka Sister, and Shirai Kuroko from Penguin Parade!!! =D They all named “Standard Edition” so most likely there will be some kind of speical edition or limited edition later on.
Some people asked about the quality about Penguin Parade. I only own one of their figure (Soso Karin! =D ) but I had read some of review of their other product. I would say that their quality is good. Well, not at good as Alter, GSC/Max Factory, and Megahouse. But I would say that they’re as good as the high quality Kotobukiya. =]
The 6,800 yen price tag for Kuroko is reasonable but I think the 8,800 yen Mikoto+Sister set is a bit overpriced. For 8,800 yen, you DON’T get Misaka + Sister, you only get Misaka + parts for Sister. That means if you want to get both Misaka and Sister, you need to pay 8,800 yen twice! =/

——Description from Manufacturer—— The Judgement member with never-ending love for Misaka! From the popular anime “Toaru Majutsu no Index II” comes a 1/8th scale figure of Kuroko Shirai that will be released at the same time as Mikoto, allowing you to display the two roommates together! She is posed holding her school bag in one hand and pulling out a load of metal arrows with the other, ready to jump into some action. Careful detail has been given to even the smaller parts of her sculpting, including her Judgement armband as well as the hidden metal arrows around her thighs. Also be sure to display her together with her beloved Misaka! |

whats that belt? O_O
dunno, but probably her needles ammo?
You should probably watch more anime dude.
Well said.
I really don’t care much for Kuroko but I have to admit this is the best figure of her I’ve seen thus far.
lol. i dont remember what was the last anime i watched.. none since k-on.
It is her needles ammo
A little iffy on the face, but the pose is pretty nice. Not sure if I’ll get it yet, but it’s a possibility. Might just wait for Alter’s eventual release.
I think so too, but is still the best figure of kuroko i ever seen, or i think so. Probably i’ll get it.
By the way, your RSS feeds are broken. They only contain the snippet (the first couple sentences) of each post. The whole point of RSS is so people can read blogs directly from their RSS readers, with a convenient, consistent interface. RSS feeds should contain the whole post.
Well, couple things. That is just part of, but NOT the whole point of RSS. RSS feed may, but not should, contains the whole post. It is just like the feed in your facebook, all you need are the titles. If you’re interested in it, then you will click into it and read the whole thing. If not, then you will just skip it.
In fact, the main purpose for RSS feed is drawing traffic to the website. RSS with the whole contain will actually lose traffic and increase the load of the web server.
But this not why I only publish part of the content in my RSS. The reason behind it is some people embedded my RSS into their websites and made my post as part of their contents before. People were actually steal my stuff and claim it their own!!!
Just to mention that I follow your website through RSS, and I don’t mind clicking to go to the site.
I think it depends a lot – Neko Magic is a pretty clean and easy to read website, so I don’t mind coming here to read it. But everytime I needed to enter Tomopop to click a link I cringed.
So, yeah, that was a compliment XD I guess.
her facial expression seems rather wierd, not what ud expect for someone pulling out needles 😮
