An event of figures, models, and garage kits, Wonder Festival 2009 [Summer] will be held on July 26th (Sunday) , changing the place from Tokyo Big Sight to Makuhari Messe. This time, the event uses the total of 7 halls (from the 2nd to the 8th halls) in Makuhari Messe. Kaiyodo Hobby Lobby in Akihabara put an announcement of the release of Wonfes catalog and said “let’s go to the largest scale of Wonfes in the history!”

This year WF setup a 18+ area for ero figures, bloody figures, and weapons models. One need to show their ID to the staff before you could enter the 18+ section. It was kind of troublesome but this was a good thing to avoid some highschool kids enter the area. To me, a lot of the figures in the 18+ section weren’t really ero enough to lable them as 18+ tho.
