Volks CharaGumin is going to release the Selvaria Bles ( セルベリア・ブレス ) HR7 Limited Edition ( HR7限定版 ) 1/8 colored resin cast GK from the game/anime “Valkyria Chronicles” ( 戦場のヴァルキュリ ). Will be released in Hobby Round 7 on April 08, 2012. Around 230mm tall, 67 parts + decals, 12,000 yen. Kit is NOT prepainted nor completed. Hobby Round 7 exclusive.

She looks gorgeous. But if the standard ver. doesn’t comes with a gun then what are they going to do with her right hand? Maybe give her a pistol instead?
Sigh. Figure’s actually very tasteful, considering the usual renditions of Selvaria, but the machine gun is what seals the deal for me. Figures it’s a convention exclusive item, they’ll probably package her regular version with a ragnite shield and lance. Shame, the detail on that machine gun is really good, deal breaker if they don’t do something as good.

Charagumin figures don’t need painting since the plastic comes already coloured. You only need to assemble them. I have one of the Linas and it’s a great figure. Definitely getting this.
Well, she does need a tiny bit of painting. You will need a super thin paint brush and the color gold to color the outlines which were left black. And maybe a light pink for her lipstick.
Okay you gotta do a bit of clipping to some of the pieces, and the only paint you’ll ever need is gold for the decorations. Maybe pink or whatever for the lips, but I got her built and painted, and she is beautiful! It took me around 8-10 hours total. All you need is a pair of clippers, sandpaper, and a tweezer.
