Griffon Enterprises is going to release the Highest Judge of Paradise ( 楽園の最高裁判長 ) Shikieiki Yamaxanadu ( 四季映姫・ヤマザナドゥ ) 1/8 PVC figure from the doujin danmaku shooting game series “Touhou Project” ( 東方プロジェクト ) by the circle Team Shanghai Alice ( 上海アリス幻樂団 ). Will be released in May 2010. Around 190mm tall, 6,800 yen.

Shikieiki Yamaxanadu is one of the few Touhou characters that I can never memorized her name. Her name is really complicated so I aways call just her “Yama”. Actually “Yamaxanadu” is not her name, it’s just her title. Her name is “Shikieiki”.

the dress is ok, but overall the figure looks plain to me
I’m not at all familiar with the character but she’s totally forgettable, to me at least.
Her legs are sticks, her face barely qualifies as “plain” and the fingers on her holding-hand make it look like the placard was an afterthought. e.g.: It could’a been a daikon radish, a stop sign or anything else. I’d expect this from a Figma but necessarily from a PVC figure.
Having said that, the sculptor did good job shading / shadowing which highlight the lighting effects as well as a decent job with the wind effect on the dress.
