Good Smile Company is going to release the Nendoroid No.44 Asakura Ryoko ( 朝倉涼子) action figure and expansion set (拡張パーツセット ) from the light novel/anime “The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya”( 涼宮ハルヒの憂鬱 ). Will be released in September 2008. Around 100mm tall, 5,000 yen.
You can order her here
Ryoko is my least favorite character, but seems like she’s really popular in Japan. Anyway, for those who bought the Nendoroid Haruhi, Yuki, and Mikuru, here is the good news. There is a expansion set comes with Ryoko!!! =D
The expansion set somes with:
- The back part of hair (ponytail) for Haruhi
- The hat, mat, wand, the cat for Yuki
- Both front and back hair part, the legs for Mikuru
Yuki vs Ryoko!!!! Yuki sold separately. =P

You forgot to mention that it also comes with the short sleeve arms for Haruhi. Sorry if I insulted you.
And I happen to have this set, it’s really neat. But my Haruhi and Mikuru are bootlegs though, so Haruhi’s ponytail color does not match the ugly bootleg color hair and Mikuru’s face just looks straight out terrible with her new hair, it can barely even fit. I should get new ones..the real ones this time.
(Yes..I learned my lesson)
Oh yea you’re right. I forgot to mention the short sleeve. Well, my Japanese isn’t really good you know. =P
