Max Factory is going to release the Yoko Ritona (ヨーコ・リットナー) Real Image Ver. ( リアルイメージver. ) 1/6 PVC figure form the anime “Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann” ( 天元突破グレンラガン ). Will be released September November December 2009. Around 275mm tall, 9,333 yen.

My wallet is safe this time. I’m not a fan for realistic anime character. It’s just not my cup of tea. And no, the sculptor is NOT the one one who made the realistic version of Ryomou Shimei. That guy is Diskvision ( D蔵 ), and this guy who made this Yoko is Shunshi Hagii ( 萩井 俊士 ).

Why would anyone want this figure. The whole point is to enjoy her as an anime figure…
I actually like the realistic sculpts, I think they add an extra dimension to some figures. I wouldn’t want them all to strive for that, but a few really add flavor to a collection. That said, I prefer the original face sculpt of the resin kit over this one.
Think about it. If your a real fan of Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann don’t you prefer an anime style Yoko. It’s anime… It’s nice to see these figures in the anime style. There just trying to up the slut appeal of Yoko. She is much more cute in her anime. It looks like she’s posing for Hustler Magazine.
I way prefer this one over any of the other Yoko ones. Probably because I am more into the mature, realistic types. This figure of Yoko retains its anime-like features over the other PVC, but I agree why Steve would prefer the resin kit. Still I dislike resin, so I will take what I can.
