MOVIC ( maufactured by ALTAiR [Alter] ) is going to release the Kinose Azusa ( 木ノ瀬 梓 ) 1/8 PVC figure form the otome game/anime “Starry Sky” ( スタ☆スカ ). Will be released in August September 2011. Around 195mm tall (included base), 6,800 yen. Animate exclusive.
Starry Sky is an otome game (game that targets female game player market) and the anime was started in December 2010. I never watched it since I’m not into this kind of game/anime at all. Is it really popular among girls?
This Kinose Azusa figure is Animate exclusive. You can get him here in the Animate online stop with your proxy service. It is really interested to see Alter actually manufactured this Kinose Azusa figure for MOVIC. When I saw this figure in the Alter booth in WF2011[winter], I thougth they were going to release him under ALTAiR.

Idk but I guess this series is popular because the guy characters are based off the Zodiac signs? (took a look at it and the character who's my sign is pretty cute. so, yeah…)

I really like this figure! I’m a fan of Starry Sky, though I’ve never played the game. I watched the episodes that have been released so far.
I wonder if they’re gonna make all the characters? I want Virgo, that’s my sign and I like the character, ha ha!

Hell yes they are popular for a reason; it’s not only because of their looks (which is a good selling point), but it is also from logical relationship/personality traits that they go through that makes the game shine than other Otome sterotypes.
The only zodiac reference is their school, the planetarium and their uniforms, otherwise their personalities are quite unique, and not like the boring dating sim girl characters for boys.
