Volks M.O.E. (Model of Entertainment Collection) is going to release the Moe Collect Plus 14 Holo ( ホロ ) 1/6 PVC figure from the anime/light novel “Spice and Wolf” ( 狼と香辛料 ). Will be released in Autumn on November 21, 2009, 6,800 yen. Volks Web Site Store will start to accept pre-order on June 25.

Believe it or not, included this one, there are only 4 Holo PVC figures in the market so far. And for some reason it seems like it is really hard to make Holo looks like Holo. To me this one (especially the evil face) from Volks is the best looking one. Then the second best looking one is the Kotobukiya one, and then GSC, and the Taki one looks the worse.

It is a really good deal, this best looking Holo is only 6,800 yen and she is in 1/6 scale. I would love to put her in my collection but so far I still couldn’t find an online store that sell Volks M.O.E. figure. If you know any online store is selling Volks figures, please let me know! (@@.

I haven’t watched Spice and Wolf, but I think this is a really nice figure. I almost want to buy it, but I must be good.
I would hope that the preorder just hasn’t been put up yet at most places and that’s why you haven’t found a listing yet. But I’ll keep my eyes open and let you know if I run across one.

yeap as aka said, theres cospa resinya! horo, with a limited edition GEE series of the same horo with different color
and ill be getting this, to add in my other horo. i got 2/5 now, with koto horo PO’ed. Will only get cospa resinya version if i got cash to throw on september/october (its still available on mandarake btw LOL!) provided its still available.
BTW to add in, this volks Horo is ONLY available via Volks online preorder. and they do NOT ship internationally.
so start finding proxy services or any friends thats in japan to help you get it ^^

@GGT/whoever interested in Tenso.com: Friend just ordered something from Tenso, the extra charge is really cheap, and amazon.co.jp has free shipping on domestic shippings.
So amongst all the “popular” proxy services, when it comes to figures (they don’t weight a lot typically) i think Tenso would be a good choice as they charge per volume instead of item value.

They should at least expand internationally if they really want to reap in some hard cash. I know I’ll invest in them should they decide to.

Just checked the volks site. Looks like their anticipating a shipping date of Oct 31. Halloween seems a very fitting shipping date.
