Toy’s works is going to release the Tira Misu ( ティラ・ミス ) from the novel/manga/anime “Sorcerer Hunters” ( 爆れつハンター ). Will be released in May 2009. Around 200mm tall, 7,600 yen.

I wonder how many people actually know this show. This is a really old show. This show really bring back some old memory. I think I was just out of highschool when I first read the manga. It’s more than 10 years already! As you may notice from the info above, the Sorcerer Hunters was originally from novel. Yes, it was “Novel”, not Light Novel! Now you can tell how old this show is.
Overall this figure looks pretty good. But too bad the paint job is kind of plain. Paint job is always a weak point of the figures by Toy’s works. The sculpt work of their figures usually looks pretty good, but the paint job usually ruined it. Well, maybe I’m just being picky. =P

Wow. Talk about a blast from the past. I remember watching a couple episodes of Bakuretsu Hunters because back then any available anime in the US was worth watching. 😀 It didn’t hurt that TiraMisu and her sister’s transformation showed alot of service (ah… the days when fan service wasn’t blatantly constant) and that she was voiced by Hayashibara Megumi. Wonder if they’ll release a version of her in her regular gear…
