Megahouse is going to release the P.O.P ( Portrait.Of.Pirates ) Franky ( フランキー ) Strong Edition 1/8 PVC figure from the long-running shonen manga/anime “One Piece” ( ワンピース ). Will be released in August 2010. Around 200mm tall, 8,500 yen.
You can order him here
Here is Franky, the cyborg who is the shipwright in Thousand Sunny and he love cola a lot. I didn’t like him at first when he first showed up in the manga. Well I’ll just save my BS here. I think most of you who’re reading this post should know him a lot better than I do. =P
I seldom post figures of the characters from shonen manga like One Piece or Naruto coz I thought most Nekomagic visitors were more into girl figures. But I guess I was wrong, I actually got some request for more news for One Piece and other shonen manga. Today we have 3 post for One Piece figures. I’ll see how you guys respond to them. I you guys like them, then I’ll keep posting them from now on. If not, then I’ll save my time and not bother them next time.

——Description from Manufacturer—— Sculpted by ATTM From the record-smashing super-hit movie Strong World comes the fifth release in the P.O.P. Strong Edition series! This is an exact replica of Franky from the movie’s climax – featuring huge guns, a cola-storage unit in his stomach and even the Strong Hammer! With the most volume, and the most features, of any of the releases in this series this is definitely the Franky figure fans have been waiting for! |

My reaction about this figure resumed in one word: SUPEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!
He moves? wow..
Franky!!! <3 <3 love this figure.
The fridge is epic :DD
Wow, the paint job looks awesome on this one! I’m not that much of a Franky fan, (I still think Paulee should have been the shipwright, oh well!) but this figure is simply stunning. The huge guns are so cool! Too bad he is so expensive… and that I don’t like him that much, hahaha! I’ll get Crocodile instead. <3
The customizability of this figure is pretty impressive!
I’m loving this figure, looks much better than his last one from the regular P.o.P.-line.
Oh, and do keep up with the posts about the One Piece-figures. If there are people who don’t find them interesting, they can always just skip them on the main page. So everybody wins.
Franky, only male figure that´s wearing only pants XD
Still I won´t buy him, do not like him that much. (however the fridge is coolXD)
I LOVE this figure, I’m so happy to see a review on NM with such beautiful pictures. The customization options are just outstanding and while I already have a soft spot for Franky, I chose this figure over other characters simply for the value for money. Everything you can do with him is amazing, and those cola bottles are just SO DARN AWESOME! Also this is the highest quality Franky figure on the market. Can’t wait till mine arrives!
