Alter is going to release the Nakano Azusa ( 中野 梓 ) 1/8 PVC figure from the manga/anime “K-ON!” ( けいおん！ ). Will be released in June 2010. Around 200mm tall (included base), 6,800 yen.

If Alter announce this Azunyan a week ago, I’m pretty sure I have ordered her already. But after I saw all the other figures in WF2010[Winter], I think I have to think twice. There are way too many figures that I want to get. Just figma and Nendoroid alone are going to burn a big hole in my wallet. (@@.

Ha ha, I was just thinking that before coming to NekoMagic. I ordered her already on Hobby Search(good price there!) checked this morning and she’s still orderable. I was for sure she was going to be closed really fast like the nendo. Then I thought, “I guess people would rather have nendo and figmas now rather then stationary figures.”
Luckily for me I’m pretty much over figmas and nendos… I don’t play with them much to make it really worth having I guess. I’d still buy one if it was a character I just had to have…. hm… like Taiga.
I only have one Nendo so far and that Ryuk because I liked his design. There have been others I really liked, but never ordered. I have a 5 figmas, 4 Harhui characters, 1 Kagamiku. I have almost all the Original Dokodemoissyo revoltechs except the dog… and the alternate face rereleases…
But NEVER PLAY WITH THEM… it’s kind of sad.
So, I decided stationary figures are enough.
Well figmas and nendoroids are cheaper in general and characters like the ones from K-ON, people tend to collect them in set. Which mean figmas and Nendoroids are much more desirable in completing collection.
I hardly touch my figures once I display them. When I got my 1st castoff figure, it was fun the 1st 2 day taking and putting the clothes. After a while, I don’t even want to bother taking them off cause too much work.
And I guess people want to get the figma ones cause they are like 50% of a pvc one yet they look just as good. I’m still piss I didn’t have a chance to order them cause I was 12 hrs late. Then I see people on ebay with like 10 selling for 50 bucks each.
Yeah I’m sure price is a huge factor.
That pisses me off too, seeing people buy up figures just to scalp them on ebay… ;_;
This figure is soooooooo cute, but because I don’t know K-On that well and my already empty wallet is gonna go bankrupt from BRS I must pass on this ._.
Definitely ordering her. I hope Alter does the rest of the girls. ^^
Ordered this, but I missed Mio and Yui long ago… Hope Alter can soon re-release them.
God damnit, I need to get the whole band. I think I’ll start with Azusa and Mio when I can find them.
