Max Factory is going to release the Akiyama Mio ( 秋山 澪 ) 1/7 PVC figure from the manga/anime “K-ON!” ( けいおん！ ). Will be released in January 2011. Around 210mm tall, 7,429 yen.

This Akiyama Mio figure from Max Factory is the 4th Mio PVC figure in School Festival costume. Most of people might find that this Mio is the cutest one. Well, to each their own, to me this Max Factory one looks the worst (flame suit on). Yes, the sculpt and paint job are great, but Mio’s dress doesn’t look like that! And she is not Azunyan or Yui, she doesn’t hug her bass like her baby. =(

Yeah I like the Alter version the best out of all of them. Max Factory would be second if her face wasn’t so covered up.
It’s fortunate that I have long decided to collect only the Alter school uniform K-ON set… it’s simply impossible to collect all K-ON figures… (what’s worse? most of them look nice.)

FINALLY SOMEONE WHO AGREES WITH ME. Everyone seems to be in love with this Miku but I hate how she’s hugging her bass. It’s completely unrealistic. Who does that? I wouldn’t know how to explain her pose to my friends especially the ones who are into rock/alternative music. They would just laugh. :/
