We have so many K-ON! figures lately! Here comes Akiyama Mio from upLark. Actually I’m not sure which company is this Mio from, upLark or Good Smile Company? Both companies have them in their website and both of them are figure manufuturers, it’s really hard to tell who’s manufuturing her and who’s selling her. Well, maybe upLark make the prototype, ad then give it to GSC to manufuture the PVC product, and then upLark sell her?

Banpresto, AZONE, MOVICxKotobukiya, Aoshima, WAVE, Alter (left to right)

Well anyway, exclude the Nendoroid and trading figure/gashapon, we have 7 Mio figure/doll so far including this one. Personally I like the MOVICxKotobukiya and the AZONE Mio. I think they are the best looking ones. But to be honest, non of them really looks like Mio to me. Is Mio really that hard to sculpt?

——Description from Manufacturer——

Her happy, yet slightly embarrassing first time on stage!

From the popular TV anime ‘K-ON’ comes the bassist from Sakura high school’s music club ‘Mio Akiyama’, wearing the Gothic dress designed by Sawako-sensei, that she wore on her first stage performance at the school festival.

A replaceable embarrassed facial expression is included, allowing you to recreate her pose as she found out she would have to sing in place of Yui at the festival. The base of the figure is sculpted from ABS, and the four strings of the guitar been realistically stung onto the figure.

As for underneath the skirt… that’s for you to see for yourself!
