For those of you who still don’t know how to find Makaizou figures on Yahoo! Japan Auction, here is a step-by-step guide for you! =D

This post contains adult material, you need to be 18 or over to view it.
October 29, 2017: Seller list is added

  • Method 1: Using your own proxy service

A lot of proxy service companies help you bid on items from Yahoo! Japan Auctions. If you want to use the proxy service that you’re already familiar with, you can just send the link(s) to your proxy service. But first you need to know where to find the Makaizou figure from Yahoo! Japan Auctions.

Step 1: You need a Yahoo! Japan ID to browse the Adult section. If you don’t have one, go get one for free HERE

e-mail address – Just enter any of your e-mail address

Yahoo! JAPAN ID – The user ID you prefer. 4-31 characters. You can use A-Z, 0-9, and _ (underscore). Keep trying until you see the green words which means the ID is available.

Password – Minimum 6 characters. You can use any English characters, symbols, and numbers.

Postal Code – Since you’re reading this guide, I’m pretty sure you’re not living in Japan and you don’t have a Japan Postal Code. Just type in anything you like from this list. If you’re super lazy like me, then just type 100-0001 (Chiyoda, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo).

Birthday – The format is YYYYMMDD. Let’s say your birthday is May 01, 1985, then just type in “19850501”. Slash symbols (/) will appear automatically after YYYY and MM.

Gender: Male (left) | Female (right) – Sorry it is Japan and they don’t have selection other then Male and Female.

Subscribe to Y! newsletter – Check that box if you want to subscribe to their newsletter.

T Card: Have | Don’t have – Just select “Don’t have”. Sorry I don’t know what T Card is. Some kind of point card I guess?

CAPTCHA – The CAPTCHA will come up if you tried the user ID too many times or maybe some other reasons. If you don’t know how to read/type Japanese, then just close your browser and reopen it again and hope that the CAPTCHA will not be there next time.

Register a Yahoo! Japan ID – After you’re done, go click the big orange “Register a Yahoo! Japan ID” button.

Here is the confirmation screen.

T Card: Have | Don’t have – Again, just ignore this T Card thing.

Edit – Check your information here. If you want to change anything, just click on the “Edit” link.

User Agreement – I don’t want to read it and I’m not going too. Go find someone who can translate it if you want to read it. =P

Agree – Just check the “Agree” box.

Register – After you’re done, go click the big orange “Registe” button.

Here in the next screen you need to enter the confirmation code.

Check your e-mail. You should receive two e-mails from Yahoo! Japan. One for T card, the other one is your confirmation code. Again, just ignore this T Card one and only open the confirmation code e-mail.

That 6-digit number is your confirmation code. Just copy and paste it to the Confirmation code screen. If you closed that screen for any reason, the just click that confirmation link.

Next – After you’re done, go click the big orange “Next” button.

Congratulation! You just finished the most complicated part of this step-by-step guide!

Step 2: Go to Yahoo! Japan Auctions > ログイン (Login)

Now go back to the Yahoo! Japan Auctions homepage ( Please Login if you have not done so.

Here is the Login screen. Just enter your User ID and Password and then click the orange “Login” button

Step 3: Go to その他 (Others) > アダルト (Adult)

Now scroll down to the very bottom of the menu on the left-hand side, click その他 (Others) and then アダルト (Adult)

Step 4: Go to 完成品 (Completed)

Now click the link 完成品 (Completed) under フィギュア (Figure) in the menu on the left-hand side. It’s located a little below the middle of the menu.

Step 5: Congratulation! You’re in the Completed Figure (Adult) section!!! Now you just need to let your proxy service know which item(s) you want and let them place bid it for you! =D

  • Method 2: Using Buyee

Buyee ( is the official partner of Yahoo! Japan Auctions, Yahoo! Shopping and many others (e.g., Rakuten, Premium Bandai). They are the official proxy service company of Yahoo! Japan Auctions. If you buy through Buyee, they will help you place bid and arrange shipping after winning the auction. Their website is in English so I’m not going to talk about them here. You can check it out yourself.

Just to save you some time, here is the link for the Makaizou figures (

It looks a lot easier than the Method 1 right. So why would anyone want to use Method 1? Now here is the problem. Buyee doesn’t ship adult items to some countries!!

Depending on where you’re located, Buyee will not ship Makaizou figures to your country. I’m not sure about US, but they don’t ship to Canada. I did try to click the “If you wish for us to unblock the auction, please click here” on one of the makaizou figures but they replied with something like “we manually reviewed this item and we can’t ship it to your country.” =(

  • Sellers on Yahoo! Japan Auctions and Buyee

When you go browse Makaizou figures at Yahoo! Japan Auctions or Buyee, you will find that a lot of them are not so pretty and some of them are just bootlegs (the seller(s) calls them “GK”). It is hard to tell if they’re made for an authentic figures or from a bootleg sometimes. If you’re not so sure, just follow the modelers that we featured in Nekomagic here and you should be pretty safe.

**Sellers may not have anything for sale at the moment you click on the links**

So that’s it for this step-by-step guide on How to Buy Makaizou figure from Yahoo! Japan Auctions! I hope you find it useful. =D

Oh by the way, just want to let you know that Makaizou figures are custom made and they’re super expensive. The flat-chested Hatsune Miku Orange Blossom Ver. that I posted this week was sold for 75,000 yen!!!
