Aoshima is going to release the CharaMofu ( キャラもふ ) Haru-chan ( 春ちゃん, Spring-chan) plush from the News Watch9 weather forecast corner of NHK, “Haru-chan’s Weather Tips” ( 春ちゃんの気象豆知識 ). Will be released in January 2011. Around 200mm tall, 3,800 yen.

For those who live in Japan, you should be really familiar with Haru-chan even if you’re not an Otaku. Haru-chan and Fuyushogun and couple other characters are the mascots of the NHK weather forecast. But for those of us who aren’t in Japan, I have no clue who they are until I saw these plushies! XD
