Good Smile Company is going to release the Saber & Saber Motored Cuirassier ( セイバー＆セイバー・モータード・キュイラッシェ ) PVC figure from the light novel/anime “Fate/Zero” ( フェイト/ゼロ ) , a prequel to “Fate/stay night” ( フェイト/ステイナイト ). Will be released in May June 2012. Around 160mm tall and 290mm long, 13,143 yen.

I’m passing on this, the price is to high and I don’t trust GSC quality, they can fail like no other company when it comes to them wanting to out do themselves.
I’m not too concerned about the quality since it’s Max Factory not GSC. =)
Well its by the same sculptor as the one who sculpted Saber Lily Distant Avalon and it turned one of the best figures in the year it was released so it should be pretty good.

I don’t know about other figure collectors, but I only interested in figure, not bike or robot model so thus us really expensive to me.
And yes, maybe GSC’s quality is good, but sadly their QC isn’t thar great. =(

Hi, correct me if I’m wrong, I think GGT is referring to the quality control process that all the figures have to pass, usually the mass produced version, as opposed to the quality of the sculpture itself (e.g. level of detail on the figure, face, hair .etc) that is often related to the skills of the sculptor himself/herself.
GSC is indeed highly capable of producing quality PVC. However quality and consistency and QC are different issues altogether. E.g. they left out the star on a whole batch of BRS animation figures! Next, Although they have produced batches of wonderfully painted Hatsune Miku, the recent ones have horrible paint defects on the right leg. Lousy paintwork should have been stopped by the QC. That’s why he mentioned the QC cannot be trusted.
