Aizu Project is going to re-release the Ayanami Rei ( 綾波レイ ) Plugsuit Ver. ( プラグスーツVer) 1/2.5 cold cast Polystone figure from the Neon Genesis Evangelion movie “Evangelion 2.0 You can (not) Advance” ( 新劇場版エヴァンゲリオン「破」 ). Will be re-released in December 2010. Around 600mm tall, 48,000 yen. Figure is pre-painted and completed. Only limited quantity will be produced.
Wow, this Asuka and Rei are big! And so does their price tag! The Asuka is a new release and this Ayanami Rei is a re-release. I couldn’t remember when did Aizu Project released the Ayanami Rei in the first time tho. Well anyway, for a price like this, I would rather same a bit more and get myself a Volks Dollfie Dream doll. I wonder who’s rich enough to buy it. (@@.

WHERE IS MISATO KATSURAGI T_T… lol its been almost half a year and no news. is there some legal issues or something? i mean do people really keep buying rei, asuka, mari figures? but misato is a pivotal character that made shinji a “man” *kiss kiss*.. i still havnt watched the new movie, should i assume misato isnt even in the movie? haha.. if thats the case, that would explain a lot =3.. but i doubt it.
Both Asuka and Rei are re-releases.
Rei was first released in 2001 and Asuka in early 2002.
They might had the Asuka in 2002, but this one is a little bit different (verrrrrrrrrry little bit) from that one. This is the new Evangelion 2.0 version, the plug suit is a liiiiiiiiittle bit different than the old TV anime one.
