Alter is going to release the Shamal & Zafila ( シャマル & ザフィーラ ) Puppy Ver. ( 仔犬Ver. )1/7 PVC figure form the anime series “Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha Strikers” ( 魔法少女リリカルなのはStrikerS ). Will be released in March April on May 07, 2010. Shamal around 330mm tall (base included) and Zafila around75mm tall, 9,800 yen.

Shamal is my least favorite character in Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha Strikers. I really don’t like the design of her outfit. I think it’s way too plain compared to the others like Nanoha and Fate.
I guess there is something wrong with the production house of Alter. 5 figures that were supposed to be released in October have been delayed. They are Ryomou Shimei, Kakouen Myousai, Saber Lily, Takamachi Nanoha Exceed Mode, and Fate T Harlaown True Sonic From. I wonder why.

Why is she so expensive? I think she looks pretty decent. But I’m not sure I understand the price?
Finaly, I was awaiting this release. Though I still think an 1/7 Zafila will be released as half-human-half-wolf figure. For the moment this will do :).

Just because it’s Alter doesn’t make ¥9,000 make anymore sense.
If you calculate out Alters average prices for 2009 you get ¥7,651.46 including everything they’ve yet to release. So what makes this figure above that average? Well she’s 1/7th scale, ok that raises her price a little bit. But if we look at KOS-MOS, who’s 1/6th scale, she costs ¥9,240, so how does this 1/7th scale figure cost only ¥240 less?
I’m guessing that they think (know) they can rape the Nanoha fans for a little extra money due to the popularity of the series.
Just my opinion though.
I think she is *cheap compared to the Nanoha (12,800 yen) and Fate (12,800 yen). XD
Well seriously, even Subaru was just 7,800 yen. I think 9,800 yen is really not worth it for this figure. =/
Yea except Fate and Nano are huge GGT when you think about weapons and sculpt even if there the same scale. :p
I’m with Aka on this no clue where this price is coming from…I guess some diehards who want the complete set no matter what I’ll still get her
