quesQ is going to release the Seven-Colored Puppeteer ( 七色の人形遣い ) Alice Margatroid ( アリス・マーガトロイド) DX type 1/8 PVC figure from the doujin danmaku shooting game series “Touhou Project” ( 東方プロジェクト ) by the circle Team Shanghai Alice ( 上海アリス幻樂団 ). Will be released in November 2011. Around 210mm tall, 11,800 yen.
Here comes Alice Margatroid and her Shanghai and Hourai dolls! There are 3 version available. They are the standard “Alice + 2 dolls version”, the 4 dolls only “Shanghai and Hourai dolls set“, and the Alice + 6 dolls “DX type version“.
Unless you really want to have Alice surrounded by tons of dolls, otherwise I think the standard “Alice + 2 dolls” version is good enough. For those who like Alice but didn’t get/want the Alice figures from Griffon Enterprises, you really should think about this one. =]

I think this is just beautiful. I love the pages flying out of the book and even how detailed they went with it. The dolls are adorable too. <3 Amazing~
I was originally going to get the Griffon Alice + Dolls set, but I cancelled my order as soon as I saw the prototype for this one. I’m glad I did, this one is much more dynamic, and also costs about 3000 yen less than the Griffon set.
