Turu no Yakata ( 鶴の館 ) is going to release the Kosaka Kirino ( 高坂桐乃 ) 1/8 resin cast GK from the light novel/manga/anime “My Little Sister Can’t Be This Cute” ( 俺の妹がこんなに可愛いわけがない ). Will be released in Wonder Festival 2011 [Winter] on February 06, 2011. price unknown, 13 parts + DVD decal in total. Kit is NOT per-painted nor assembled.

We have two new GK from “Turu no Yakata” by my favorite sculptor Chizuru! Her works are really really nice and I like them a lot.
For those who don’t know, some of the Beach Queens series from WAVE and all of the faces of the PureNeemo Character Series dolls from AZONE are made by her. And recently her Hachikuji Mayo GK just got picked up by Good Smile Company. You know GSC usually make their own figure instead of picking someone’s work up. Isn’t she great? =D
By the way, she not is not a full time sculptor. She is a full time housewife and a part time sculptor. XD

Funny. I find this Kirino better than the PVCs announced.
Wow, she is indeed really talented! Kirino’s expression is so cute here~ I’m not sure if Chizuru did the paint job herself, but I think it looks beautiful as well, I especially like the blush on her cheeks. Also, kudos to her for having her sculpt picked up by Good Smile Company!

Her face is a little chubby but it’s still really good and if she’s really produced by WAVE, we can expect a cheaper price tag!
I hope this gets picked up by GSC since I’m sure they’ll keep the scale. WAVE on the other hand…they tend to go with 1/10 even if their price point is lower.
This is a great figure, captures a slightly sad or submissive Kirino than the usual tsundere look.
I feel like the PVC version should have that same fuzzy carpet base, even if this is just a kit without base. lol. I’d hate for this to have some generic clear base though…give her a wood flooring or tiles, preferably I want that carpet look. =3
