Volks Art Display is going to release the Belldandy Holy Bell ( ベルダンディー・ホーリーベル ) 1/6 resin cast GK from the manga/anime “Ah! My Goddess” ( ああっ女神さまっ ). Will be released in Winter 2011. Around 430mm tall, 48,000 yen. Comiket 79 and New Kit Exhibition 2011 exclusive.
There is no information about if this GK is pre-painted or not. But judging from the size and price, I guess it is pre-painted and completed. (don’t quote me on this =P )
Anyway, just like the Komaki Manaka Bishop Ver. PVC figure, you can only pre-order this Belldandy and Holy Bell GK at Comiket 79 from December 29-31, 2010 and New Kit Exhibition 2011 from January 01-10, 2011. But since Volks always re-release their GK in Hobby Round, so maybe you can get her at the next Hobby Round too?

Wow, it looks great though. I like the Alphonse Mucha inspired design. If this were a GK that I bought and I screwed up painting it I would probably hang myself for destroying 48k.

It’s a crime something this good looking and well done is also so damned expensive. At least when they do any Ah! My Goddess figs anymore, they go big or go home. Another one to the ‘admire from afar’ column.
The price, size and quality seem very fitting to me.
Cheap + Large = Not Good

Good + Large = Not Cheap
The fact that this is a very nice, very large and very expensive figure isn’t because of the fact that it’s AMG. It’s because this is Volks. Regardless of which character they use for their GK, it’s usually top-top qualify.

i never watched Ah My Goddess.. even when i was in my anime phase like less than a decade ago lol. ive been in the phase for about 6 months now, but i dont think ill watch it either.
