Volks M.O.E. (Model of Entertainment Collection) is going to release the Moe Collect Plus 03.9 Hatsune Miku ( 初音ミク ) 1/6 PVC figure from the popular singing synthesizer application “Vocaloid 2″ by YAMAHA. Will be released in Spring 2010. Price unknown. Pre-order will be only available at Comiket 77 (Dec 29-31, 2009) and New Kit Exhibition 2010 (Jan1-11, 2010)

This is the M.O.E. 03.9 Hatsune Miku, compared to the original M.O.E. 03 Hatsune Miku, she comes with extra set of arms and a new face. To me she is always the best sculpted Miku PVC figure out there, but too bad Volks ruined her. Let’s hope that Volks will do it right this time. =]

Oh, btw, the New Kit Exhibition 2010 is actually from 2009, Volks haven’t upload the 2010 one yet so I use the 2009 instead.

Just wondering, but how did Volks ruin her? I know Volks is no Alter, but I know they aren’t Taki either. XD

I’m not fond of this figure at all. It’s super accurate to Kei’s original illustration (or the original face is), but I hate Kei’s art, so likewise, I can’t say I love this figure.

Not something really serious, might not be a problem to a lot of people actually. It’s just the well known “no nose”, “sausage fingers”, careless paint job, and seam lines. Basically it’s quality of prize figure with the price of PVC figure.

^I kind of noticed that too… all of the figures that are directly based off Kei’s work tend to look kind of ugly to me… I guess it’s the lack of the nose..?
Want to get that Goodsmile one someday~
