Alter is going to release the Almecha series KOS-MOS Ver.4 non-scale action figure from the anime/game series “Xenosaga III” ( ゼノサーガIII ) published by namco. Will be released in July 2011. Around 170mm tall, 9,800 yen.

After two years, Alter finally announces this KOS-MOS Ver.4 action figure!!! Like a lot of people predicted, this KOS-MOS is really expensive! Her price is more than double the price of the figma KOS-MOS Ver.4. (Oo. Not so sure about the build quality, but the print job looks way better than the figma KOS-MOS.
I never seen any Almecha series figure before since I’m not into mecha. I really don’t know how the quality of Almecha series is. But from what I heard, this series is really good and worth every penny. If it is true, then I guess the price tag of this KOS-MOS is reasoable?

As expected from Alter, really pushing the detailing.
But I’m a poor man, so I’ll go for the poor man figma ;_;
As expected from Alter, she looks like an amazingly detailed figure.
I do have to question her articulation though. You’d think they’d use more dynamic poses for the promo shots. She’s supposed to be an “action” figure after all.

Oh, I see that their Arbalest and Linebarrel were Almecha series, never thought KOS-MOS would fit into this.
