Kotobukiya 4-Leaves LG (Legend Girls) is going to release the Osaka ( 大阪 ) Swimsuit Ver. ( ～水着版～ )1/7 PVC figure from the manga/anime “Azumanga Daioh” ( あずまんが大王 ). Will be released in February 2010. Around 100mm tall, 4,800 yen.
You can order her here
Osaka is my most favorite character in the show and I think she is the most popular girl of Azumanga Daioh among the Japanese readers too. Osaka is just her nickname, most people forgot her real name is Kasuga Ayumu ( 春日 歩 ) already.
I don’t think the young people will know about Azumanga Daioh. But I’m sure for the old people like me love it a lot! They just celebrated their 10th anniversary couple months ago and I can’t believe Kotobukiya is going to release their figures too! We love you so much Kotobukiya! I’m getting this figure for sure. =D

Im just 20 and sure i love the series alot both anime and manga. This girl look really cute compared to Sasaki and in my must-get book already
Osaka looks better then the Sakaki figure. I almost want to buy this one, but I kind of wish that it was school uniforms rather then swimsuits.
I love Osaka whether she’s in her bathing suit or her uniform! It makes me sad that the younger people don’t know about this series, especially since it’s so funny…
I agree with Herron. I love Azumanga, but swimsuit figures are really blah.
Let’s hope that they will releaes the school uniform version too. (@@.
