October 11, 2009: Updated with painted images
Since Daiki Kougyou always go for those ecchi popular works like Ikkitousen (and also go for the well known ecchi figure sculptors), I know they will go for Queen’s Blade figure sooner or later. Anyway, here is Reina, the leading character in the Queen’s Blade anime. This Reina figure is based on the illustration on the HobbyJapan Vol.2 2009 cover. Too bad this prototype GK isn’t painted, otherwise she would looks really great. I’m 100% sure the news of the PVC version will come out soon after Treasure-Festa in Ariake 2. =P
So many events this month. We just had Dengeki Character Festival 2009, Mega Hobby Expo 2009 Autumn, and Tamashii Natiohn 2009 Autumn earlier. Then there will be All Japan PlaModel Hobby Show on this Saturday to Sunday and Treasure-Festa on coming Monday. What a busy month! =D

Spotted this on Hobby Japan magazine not too long ago.. hope this one will have pvc version later
Is it just me, or her face is too wide, and not enough chin?
This figure is definitely not the best Leina I’ve seen so far.
The pose is nice and the figure was nicely sculpted besides the face, which is a let down.
The color was supposed to be bluish instead of grayish. (armor)
I’d rather save my money to purchase another fig instead of this one.
