Daiki Kougyou is going to release the Real Arrange 003 Saber ( セイバー ) 1/4 PVC figure from the eroge/anime “Fate/stay night” published by Type-Moon. Will be released in November 2009. Around 375mm tall, 27,000 yen.

This Saber is huge! 375mm is almost 15 inches tall. And the 27,000 yen price tag is really scary. There is no way I can afford it no matter how big a Saber fan I’m. But beside the size and the price, I’m not really impressed. Maybe there are so many nicer Saber figures like the Gift Saber and the GSC Saber Lily out there already. The only thing I’m really interested in this Saber is what’s under her armor. By looking at those gaps on Saber’s dress and sleeves, I’m pretty sure she is castoffable. =P
Btw, the Fate/stay night movie “Unlimited Blade Works” (UBW) is coming in January 23, 2010. I’m really looking forward to it since I like Archer a lot and I think UBW is the best story in Fate/stay night. =D

The face is horrible.
Just because the style is different doesn’t mean its horrible.
It’s not horrible… but it’s certainly not Saber. :C
I think it’s just a matter of taste, there are many Saber figure that came out but it didn’t caught my attention much but when I first saw this figure I suddenly fell in love with her. I know what you mean by horrible, the face dosen’t look like her at all, isn’t it? but I do really like this face 😛
One more thing is that no matter what and how much I want it the price is just… I can buy a PS3 with it… XP
Well she’s based off a GK that’s rather famous for the fantastic body sculpting on her underneath the cast-off armor so I’d assume this one would be cast-off too?
Be a shame to waste the insane job they did on her body…
Actually, I agree that the face is horrible. Not so much because it is bad, it is actually fairly cute, but because the other Real Arrange figures, Kanu and Shimei, actually had realistic human faces which is what the line claimed to be striving for. This one just has a standard big eyed anime face (unless all the preview pics I have seen have just been horribly displayed). I accept that some people don’t like the realistic faces, but if those people were their target audience they shouldn’t have made her part of the Real Arrange line.
I actually think this is a beautiful figure… just WAY too expensive for me.

Why is Saber pregnant, and what happened to her face?
I think it’s far from pregnant if you see her when you cast her armor off.
This Saber is another of those with face/head fail ^^; (Gift for example – at least there was secondary head ^^)
What’s the point of making awesome body / armors etc when then they stick this on top ~_~ Why they even bother with blond hair and hair style then ^^ Rly… on purpose or not (licence etc) I don’t like this style ~_~

How do you know this for sure? Just wondering…
Those sleeves look mighty castoffable.
I did a research and did asking for help to find the answer from the japanese seller(s) they’re all answer with the same answer that the final product can’t be cast-off(one of them say he’s got the answer from the Daiki itself) They change their plan later and make it a non cast-off able. You can find more info on a japanese blog like moeyo the most update pic didn’t have any seam line at all but most website still using the prototype pics.
