For some it’s a turn on, and this kind of representation of the human form has been around since people have been around(and I’m not saying with bunny ears and electric vibrators, but with genitalia exposed in an open display of invitation and submission), and probably always will be. As for the “age” of the depicted figure, sure you could argue for it falling into the “loli” category, but you could also easily argue that it carries the same stylized oversized eyes and diminuitive features that lend a child-like look to much of manga and anime characters. For those who find it distasteful, no one’s beating you over the head with it; and no one is interested in seeing you take the “moral high ground” and berate those who do find it artistic and erotic.
