Alter is going to release the Kawazoe Tamaki ( 川添 珠姫 ) 1/8 PVC figure from the manga/anime “Bamboo Blade”. Will be released in May 2009. Around 105mm tall (included the bamboo sword), little Tamaki around 60mm tall, 5,800 yen.

This is the fouth Tamaki figure we have in the market. So far I think the Griffon Enterprises one looks the best, and this Alter is second best looking one. I like the Bamboo Blade manga so much and I like all the girls. I guess Bamboo Blade isn’t really popular in Japan, otherwise we should see other characters get the figure treatment rather then only Tamaki. My favorite girl is Azuma Satori (東 聡莉 ) btw.
This figure looks pretty good. Since she is from Alter so the quality is guaranteed as usual. And the big supprise is she is only 5,800 yen!! This is a really low price for today’s standard. It’s very hard to see any 1/8 figure is lower than 6,000 yen nowaday. Good Job Alter!!! =D

Four Tama figures? What about the other four girls? I’d like to see a Saya or a Kirino or a Miya-miya. I have a feeling I’m more likely to see a fifth Tama.
This is a good sculpt, but I agree that the Griffon is the best.
