Alter is going to release the Charlotte E. Yeager ( シャーロット・E・イエーガー ) 1/8 PVC figure form the anime “Strike Witches” ( ストライクウィッチーズ ). Will be released in May June on July 01, 2011. Around 230mm tall, 7,800 yen.

Here comes Charlotte E. Yeager (Shirley), the first witch that broke the sound barrier in the history! Believe it or not, out of the massive Strike Witches figures we have in the market, this is only the third SW figure make by Alter. I wonder how many years it will take Alter to release all the witches. =P
By the way, did Shirley said she has 39.5″-24.5″-35″ in the Youtube clip? What a cow! (Oo.

In the Japanese culture, saying a girl is a “Cow” means she has huge breast with a nice body. Maybe a little sexual harassment, but there is no ill meaning to it. =(

Maybe it’s not a rabbit O_O possibly a hybrid? Iono but I really like this series. I bought a Dakimakura of her so I guess that means I have to buy her figure as well. Alter has really high quality figures which is what I really like about them.
You know GT I was thinking the same thing when you said “How long will it take for them to release all the witches?” The series has been out for quite sometime now. I guess ultimately as long as alter makes them they are worth the wait 🙂

Eh, really? Wow… that’s so strange when you think of how pejorative it is in the Western culture… Of course cattle are venerated in India, but I didn’t know that its image was positive in Japan as well. Well, now I know, as they say!

I love learning about those little differences between American and Japanese sayings and meanings. It helps with watching Anime to really understand the context or joke. Excel Saga was murder when I first saw it because of this. lol
