Kotobukiya is going to release the Takamachi Nanoha ( 高町 なのは ) Casual wear Ver. ( 私服Ver. ) 1/8 PVC figure form the anime movie “Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha The Movie 1st” ( 魔法少女リリカルなのは THE MOVIE 1st ). Will be released on January 2011. Around 165mm tall, 5,800 yen.

Like I said in the “Coming Soon” post, both Alter and Kotobukiya are making the loli Nanoha and Fate casual wear version PVC figure. Alter’s are in 1/7 scale and cost 6,800 yen and Kotobukiya’s are in 1/8 scale and cost 5,800 yen. In term of Price-Scale, they are about the same. But in term of quality of final products, Alter is way better than Kotobukiya. So I guess most people will prefer the Alter’s unless you can’t afford the extra 1,000 yen.
To me I prefer Kotobukiya’s unless the final product is really unacceptable. Saving “1,000 yen x 2 = 2,000 yen” is quite a lot for me. So I’ll not pre-order her until I see the final product. Let’s hope that she would be sold out right away in the first week. =P

When I saw this on hobbysearch, I was nearly fooled. Thought it was the alter one being released and nearly placed my order. Well, I’m gonna wait for the alter release. The larger size and better quality is definitely worth the 1000yen for me. Kotobukiya should consider lowering their price another 1000yen if they wanna compete with a larger, better alter nanoha.
