Yamato is going to release the Shikinami Asuka Langley ( 式波・アスカ・ラングレ ) non-scale resin cast GK illustrated by Shunya Yamashita from the from the anime “Neon Genesis Evangelion” ( 新世紀エヴァンゲリオン ). Will be released in July 2010, 12,000 yen. Kit is not pre-painted nor assembled.
Here is the Shunya Yamashita versioin Asuka!! Sculpted by Yoshizawa Mitsumasa ( 吉沢光正 ) from REFLECT, she was first showed at WF2010[Summer] and now she is available for order on April 23. For those who want her but couldn’t build GK, don’t worry, the PVC figure version will come next. Since the GK is only 12,000 yen, so I guess the PVC figure version will be cheaper (around 8,800 yen?).
I have no idea how big this Asuka is tho. They didn’t mention it on the Yamato site. But the previous Ayanami Rei Shunya Yamashita Ver. by Yamato was 260mm tall (around 1/6), I guess this Asuka should be around the same.

I know most guys just pay attention to the chest, but thats a deal killer for me…I likes my chests flat Yamato not my asses!!! T_T
I wouldn’t call her ass flat, but it certainly isn’t a badonk-a-donk. It is realistic, however.
That’s one of the things that I love about Shunya’s art style. It is semi-realistic, but with an anime/manga flair. Topped off with oodles of “cute and sexy”.
Actually, Shunya’s art are not flat ass but it became flat when it become model.

REFLECT @ Yamashita Shunya, incredible. I have the Ayanami Rei PVC version, so this is a MUST GET.
I dunno guys, I’m liking the butt. Its not really round, but its still cute. And if you look at how her back is arching, her butt would probably be a bit stretched out anyway (it’d be rounder if she standing straight, more like the Rei figure). Yoshizawa has done it again!
Her ass could be rounder… like the Amanda Blassreiter figure lol. But Im still buying this, her face is cute and the pose is great. Not sure how anybody could “not” like her.
