Bandai X Max Factory is going to release the Chogokin Hatsune Miku ( 超合金初音ミク ) non-scale action figure from the popular singing synthesizer application “Vocaloid 2” by YAMAHA. Will released in October 2010. Around 170mm tall, 8,000 yen. Hobby Japan magazine Vol.5&6 2010 mail-in exclusive.
Yea, I know, this mail-in exclusive thing sux. For those who are interested in getting her, you need to mail in the order from from the Hobby Japan magazine Vol.5 (released on March 25) or Vol.6 (will be released on April 25) to Hobby Japan before May 10.
Even if this Miku isn’t exclusive, I don’t think I would spend 8,000 yen on her. She isn’t really different from figma except the size the the accessories that come with (and the ugly screws on her back). The only thing I’m interested in this Chogokin is the rocket punch. Maybe I’ll make a rocket punch out of epoxy putty for my figma when I have time. =P

it would’ve been so cool if the leeks were tonfas, like how they were originally supposed to be :-/
I don’t like the chrome finish though, and now that you mentioned the screws… ^^”
she doesn’t seem worth the price at all D:
holy crap, October!? whats the point of releasing her now when she’s not due to the end of the year pretty much…gah i hate when they do that
Ew what’s with the screws? Nooo thanks not for that price!
Actually I think they look kinda cool…but thats just me.
Either way exclusive means no go for me…
Pre-ordered one already today!
At least this Chogokin Hatsune Miku way better than those awful Mazinger Angels line of Chogokins.
I do believe her costume may be made out of dicast reason for the screws and the crazy price.
I have to wonder about the screws myself because they were able to cover up almost all of the screws on Chogokin Drossel using special panel parts. For them not to do the same here would be a real WTF.
