Good Smile Company is going to release the Saber Lily ( セイバー・リリィ ) ~Golden Caliburn~ ( ～勝利すべき黄金の剣（カリバーン）～ ) 1/7 PVC figure from the Playstation2 game “Fate/Unlimited Codes”. Will be first released in “Wonderful Hobby Life for You 11″at WF2010[Winter] on February 07, 2010. Regular order will be taken at Good Smile Online Shop from February 08 – 13, 2010, and will be released in June August 2010. Around 230mm tall, 9,000 yen (tax in). Only 2,000 pieces will be available in the event.

This is the biggest ripoff figure of the “Wonderful Hobby Life for You 11” by Evil Smile Company! They take the armor off the previous Saber Lily ~Distant Avalon~ (and changed something too) and re-release her as a new figure and then sell her at almost the same price (only 762 yen cheaper before tax)?? What a joke!
Knowing that people might not want a “downgrade” version of the same figure, they re-released the Hatusne Miku as CM ver. and the BRS as Black blade ver. for a lot lower price to attrack people to buy them. But what are they doing this time? They think we figure collectors are fool enough to buy this? Um… wait… I think we’re, LOL. XD

Her face looks prettier it sure is nice to have if you don’t have the first one.
Is it just me only which think the face or rather the “smile” doesn’t suit her pose? I would prefer the previous “smile” though.
Looks pretty lovely, but yea its pretty lame to charge almost the same and make it exclusive to boot…ah well.

previous figure have “scabbard of Excalibur – Avalon” and activate them, but what she is trying to do with this scabbard -_-
it stupid pose – she don’t have now Avalon, but still in that pose.
it stupid pose for battle in any case (but previous figure pose “saved” by activated Avalon).
and now she have semitransparent bottom skirt – almost like in Fate/Extra – it terrible.
and this new face said to me “I’m new Saber, not original anymore” because she always serious in battle T_T

Interesting, I like this one better than the previous one o.O It’s strange, even if it’s a rip off, the dress is nice, I love how the bust area was enriched in a sensual but classy way, and her face looks beautiful… An action mademoiselle.

I bought the original version and I must say this doesn’t look as good. The armor and her serious face it what makes the pose works; I just don;t think this does.
So if I follow the logic correctly then is GSC implying that the armor bits that were not included were worth 762 yen lol?
In any case I still don’t see how: armor reduction + different face + different skirt + different scabbard = 9000 jpy (in comparison to the original). Funny how GSC acknowledges this by making this saber an exclusive item of sorts- which would go partway in justifying the $ tag.
hmmm… whats next, a saber lily w/o dress but only armor? wait, that actually doesn’t sound too bad…
I missed the first one so I am thinking about getting this one… The biggest problem however is not the price, but if I will be able to buy it after all…
As far as I know, GSC’s online store doesn’t have overseas shipping, and it’s unlikely I will actually go to Japan to fetch one (I like Saber, but not to THAT extent).
if the price is lower than 9K yen, then i sure will get her…but almost same price with the first version, it just not worth at all
One of my favorite outfits on Saber, i’d give 9k yen for this IF it was fully armored like it’s supposed to be from the game, the white stockigns and high heels ruined it for me, ive unlocked lily version in the game and she doesn’t have high heels on, her hands are supposed to be armored, her lower body is supposed to be armored, and there is supposed to be lace both under and over the “petal” part of the dress i consider this to be a “knock off” or am i just picky?
