Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei Fuura Kafuka & Kitsu Chiri 1/10 PVC figure by PairDot

Tags: , , ,

PairDot is going to release the Fuura Kafuka & Kitsu Chiri ( 風浦可符香&木津千里 ) 1/10 PVC figure from the manga/anime “Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei” ( さよなら 絶望先生 ). Will be released in March 2010. Around 165mm tall (figures alone), 7,800 yen. Dengeki Ver. ( 電撃Ver. ) wil also available at Dengekiya Hobby Hall.

You’re not alone, it’s my first time hear about this manufacturer PairDot too. I don’t know how good their quality is but since there is also Dengeki Ver. available, I guess it wouldn’t be so bad unless Dengeki don’t mind their reputation is ruined. 7,800 yen for two figure + background objects is a ok deal for a unknown manufacturer. For comparisons, a normal 1/10 figure by WAVE is around 3,800 yen.

As for the Dengeki Ver., it’s those mail-in exclusive that we all hate. In order to order them, you either get the Dengeki Hobby Magazine ( 電撃ホビーマガジン ) Vol.1 2010, Vol.2 2010, or Figure Maniacs Otomegumi (フィギュアマニアックス乙女組) to get the ordering from, and then mail it to Dengeki in between Nov 25, 2009 to January 08, 2010.

For those who want to get them and since it’s almost impossible for us who aren’t live in Japan to get the Dengeki Ver., I guess you will have to settle with the standard version. =]

I especially love the fact that they included sensei in it.

The standard version is nice enough. I’ll still pass because I’m not in to Zetsubou(yet), but I like the style.

I really wish there were more exclusive figures done this way. As in one exclusive version and then a standard version… though I guess that makes the exclusive less rare or whatever. In the end it would help a lot of us non Japan based fans out.

The colors for the limited version look better indeed.
The fact that we can only get them in Japan leaves me in despair!

i think you can order it online or with a proxy service, don’t think you have to buy the magazine to order. give people some hope about getting the Dengeki ver if they really really prefer that.
