Phat company is going to release the Lily ( りりぃ ) 1/8 PVC figure form the anime song cover album “anim.o.v.e 01” by M.O.V.E. Will be released in January 2011. Around 200mm tall, 7,429 yen.

Long story short, this Lily is actually the upcoming new Vocaloid who’s voiced by Masuda Yuri ( 益田 祐里 ) from the band M.O.V.E. The “anim.o.v.e 01″is one the albums of M.O.V.E. and they used Lily as the cover. Oh by the way, M.O.V.E is the band that sang most of the songs in the initial D anime.

The figure looks really great. I really like Lily’s design.
Already pre-ordered! The fringe bothers me a little though, I think it’s the lack of shading in that area. … Or the bright yellow, lol. The rest of the figure looks great though! \O/

Lily looks really nice but… what’s with the yellowness anyway? Didn’t we already have enough characters with yellow?
Maybe they’re out of color?
Keep in mind that this new Vocaloid isn’t by Crypton who did Miku and the gang, but instead by Yamaha (who did Gackpoid, Megpoid, etc.). However, KEI who did the art for Crypton also did this, so it’s easy to confuse her as a new Vocaloid after Luka. That also might be why she’s yellow, since she isn’t really related to Rin and Len at all.
That said, this is a cute figure xD
Yamaha didn’t make Gumi and Gakupo, Internet Co. did. Lily was made by Yamaha but distributed by Internet Co.
It is confusing, and easy to screw up.
Actually Gackpoid and Megpoid were done by Internet Co. Crypton and Internet Co. are just the studios who add the vocal database to the Vocaloid 02 engine which developed by Yamaha to make their products.
And you’re right. This Lily is done by Yamaha themselves. But it is a joint project with the other 2 studios included Internet Co. =D
