Alter is going to release the Mercedes ( メルセデス ) 1/8 PVC figure from the Sony Playstaion2 game “Odin Sphere” ( オーディンスフィア ) published by Altus. Will be released in February March April on May 07, 2010. Around 230mm tall, 7,800 yen.

A lot of people are discussing and comparing this Alter Mercedes to the Yamato Mercedes on forums/BBS now. And of cause most of them are leaning toward to this Alter one. Oh well, Yamato really can’t compare with Alter in term of quality, and not to mention that the Yamato one and this Alter one has the same price tag. But lucky Yamato, their Mercedes had been released in the market last most already otherwise I’ll be really worry about their selling number. =D

A very awesome figure indeed. Yamato must have prayed really hard for theirs to be released first before Alter’s. It certainly will have crushed their sales target if Alter’s one was released first.

I dunno just the fact that this one was announced at the shows before the Yamato one was released hurt their pre-orders I think…I personally canceled mine when I saw the protos of this one. >_>
Delay is fine as long as it is Alter, as you know their quality won’t be disappointing.
