AZONE is going to release the PureNeemo Character Series No.028 Yamanaka Sawako ( 山中さわ子 ) 1/6 doll from the manga/anime “K-ON!” ( けいおん！ ). Will be released on July 25, 2010 at Wonder Festival 2010 [Summer]. Around 270mm tall, 11,428 yen. Wonder Festival 2010 [Summer] exclusive.

I was talking to our member, alucard13mm, on Facebook about Sawako figma on the other day. I think that it’s not possible for Max Factory to release a Sawako figma. It’s not like the other K-ON! girls figma that you can just change the head and reuse the body and call it a day. Max Factory will have to make the whole new body for Sawako so I don’t think they will share their time and money to do it. But alucard13mm think that Max Factory might make a highschool version of Sawako instead. Good thinking if you ask me, you never know what Max Factory will do! =D

Anyway, for those who want a scaled model Sawa-chan sensei, I think this 1/6 doll might be your only option. I don’t think manufacturers like Alter, Max Factory, or even Banpresto will be interested to make a Sawako figure. Well maybe they do, but I guess the chance is really small.

Just like the other WF2010[Summer] exclusive K-ON! doll stuffs, there will be a limited number of this Yamanaka Sawako 1/6 doll available at TBSishop, AZONET, and AZONE retailers (1,2,3).
