When Daiki Kougyou announced this Saber in August last year, everyone was so excited about her and hoped that she would be castoffable like the original GK. Around a week later, a statement “This Saber is not castoffable” was posted on the Daiki Kougyou homepage. Everyone was so disappointed and started to curse Daiki (sorry, I made up the curse part =P ). But you never know, people actually cast-off this Saber successfully! This post shows you how to cast-off your Saber.
This post contains adult material, you need to be 18 or over to view it.
Do it at your own risk!
Personally I wouldn’t suggest you to do this to a good 27,000 yen figure. (@@.
The red line showed where they glued the armor. (both side)
First pull the top half out a little for both side.
The bottom half is glued together (both side), you need to use a flat head screwdriver to peel it out. (You can see Saber’s *eye here. XD )
Now the front top armor is out.
The back top armor is glued to her back too. But you should be able to peel it off with your finger.
Now the top armor is off! =D
You don’t have to take the side armors off. But it’s easier to work with her skirt if you take them off first.
Now let’s do her belt.
The flat head screwdriver is your friend. Just insert it in gap between the belt and her dress and pul the belt out.
Now the belt is out! =D
Now you can take the front selection of her dress off.
Then do the side.
And then the back.
Now her dress is off! We’re half way done! Yeah!
Now let’s work on her pants. See the red circled part? You should be able to take that part off without the screwdriver.
“click, click, click, click”
Her left side is not glued together.
But it’s on her right side. Here comes our friend flat head screwdriver again.
Her pants is off! You can see the mango(?) now!
You can see *everything you want to see now.
Oh btw, she didn’t come with painted *pupils. I painted them. =P
You can stop right here. But keep reading if you want to go farther and take her top off too
Now let’s split the red line part. Let’s do her right side first.
Here comes our friend Mr. Flat Head again. =D
Do the same thing with her left side.
Here comes the hardest part!
Unless you can take her head off (it’s glued hard!), otherwise you have to cut her clothes with xecto knife.
Now her clothes is off!
We’re done!!!!
For thoes who want to put her dress and armor back on, go ahead. It is easy and you don’t need to use glue or anything.
Wahaha. No-pan Saber!!!
Nude Apron?

Hm, you can put it back on, otherwise it’d have been awful. But still, it makes me wonder…
1. I don’t like her body here. I mean, too muscular, yet too thin, too shiny, and her pose isn’t any less ridiculous naked.
2. If you’re not supposed to take her clothes off, it’d have been better if you couldn’t, and had she been unsculpted under the clothes, it’d have been cheaper, you know?
3. The fact she is sculpted underneath means you should have the option of taking her clothes off (remember that recent awful figure of Sill?), and if it should be an option, why should I have to use a screwdriver?
Sometimes figure manufacturers can just be so… stupid.
I remember that figure of Sill well…
Yeah, you got the bad luck of actually buying that… I think it was back in my first Figure Friday time, otherwise it’d definitely have ended in the Five Not.
Here is what I said:
“What’s up with all those horrible seam-lines? I hope the actual figure is not like this.”
Of course, the seam lines were doubly offensive because they were glued, but even on a cast-offable figure they were too much.
That Kotobukiya Sill was so disappointing.
I think the RanceVI version Sill is still not castoffable. =/
I agree with Guy up there. It’s strange how they would go to such lengths to sculpt her body in such fine detail (actually quite a bit more work) and then not be able to see any of it in the end without some brutal plastic warping. I actually like the way her body is sculpted, though — I’m not a fan of really soft-looking (ie. lazy) figures, and when they’re muscular they’re overly so.
Her muscles bother me less. I mean, it’s true, why do we have to always go to extremes? Either all soft, or so muscular as to rival Billy Herrington? I want somewhere in between…
No, that ridiculous pose along with the muscles really kills it for me.
That’s naked, it looks worse with the clothes, obviously.
And for this price, I’d want a great looking figure both with and without the clothes, which this one is clearly not.
Also, her face is about as soft as they come…
While they may have gone slightly overboard I still prefer this look to the “soft” one that all her other figures have. I mean she made it a point in the game that she disliked her body for being muscular like a warrior sadly though Takashi Takeuchi art didn’t really support this plot point for whatever reason (Wasn’t confident he could draw the concept well?) and most people just think of her body being what it is in all the HCGs. >_<
I will have nightmare if Saber was like this in the game. XD
Hello Saber’s neck and the rest of her, good lord.
I still don’t like this figure, castoff or no. Also, her shininess is kind of freaking me out for some reason.
Her shininess freaks you out for two reasons:
1. Plastic shines. Shiny figures are often lower quality, they didn’t get a matte sealing. This is not surprising in this case, as this part of the figure was not meant to be viewed.
2. Shiny girls, shiny skin, and especially shiny muscled bodies make one think of body oil. It makes you think of body builders, male body builder porn stars (Billy Herrington? :D), and of course, low quality porn. It has no room on Saber, and I assure you, one wouldn’t want to wear clothes well-oiled, heh.
Ugly figure became horrible +_+
“Everyone was so disappointed and started to curse Daiki (sorry, I made up the curse part =P ).”
No! You didn’t made it up, I’m one of them, curse you Daiki! >:(
Now you seen it, do you still curse them? or glad they made her not castofable. XD
Yes, still feeling the same while most ppl hate this Saber I like it very much the sculpt of her body is beautiful IMO the muscle looks very nice I curse Daiki because I’ve seen the GK version before and really want this when Daiki decide to release it but they’ve change their plan about cast-off, again… curse you Daiki! XP
I really like that body sculpt, so if this figure were cast-offable, I might have bought it. But to have to use a screwdriver? Lame.
Really highlights just how stupid Daiki was to hide the one thing that the original GK was best known for…
Maybe Daiki have to make the figure to not be castoffable due to orders from FSN license holder? The license holder most probably don’t want any figures from the series under them to be ero/castoffable. Thus is why we never saw official figures for Fate series to be ero or castoffable..
Most likely this is the reason why Daiki couldn’t make her castoffable.
But isn’t it stupid since Fate/stay night is a ero game to begin with. (-_______-.;
Well eventho FSN is considered ero game, the ero parts are very few only.. focus was more on the story.
Then again, maybe many ppl in Type Moon didnt’t like ecchi figures 😛 Actually not only FSN, other official figures of character from Type Moon series never be castoffable 😛
As for Daiki Kogyo, if there are no restrictions, they can push the ero to the limit, like what they did for Sanae http://heiseidemocracy.com/2007/11/10/ero-figure-review-daiki-kougyous-sanae-pvc-from-shokunyuu-2/
u guys are stupid. that dumb to cast ur off…. perverts..
Daiki didn’t sculpt it they just bought the rights to the resin kit which has been out forever. Used to be some painted -magnetic cast off- versions. I liked the kit myself, too bad Daiki couldn’t do the castoff bit.
Wow, I consider this as kind of great easter egg from Daiki.
I didn’t like the pose of this figure from the start, but she looks fine when she’s naked.
She is a a great warrior after all, her body is supposed to look like that! Her naked body sculpt is anatomically right and detailed. I think she even can be used for drawing classes^___^
But who would consider using her like that?^^
don’t use cuter, off the head, turning left to right +/-20° and remove it.

Aside from the long neck, the body looks pretty good. Why didn’t they make it easy to cast off? Kinda weird. And the price is insane. I wouldn’t have bothered messing with it. ^^;;
So did anyone else get have blue paint left on the body after removing the armor?
