M field is going to release the S.F.B.T-1 1/6 resin cast GK action doll. Around 290mm tall, price and release date unknown.

Came across with this action doll last week and I thought it was amazing so I had to share it with you. Techincally it is a GK not a plastic model. The price is not out yet but I’m pretty sure it will be really really expensive (20,000-40,000 yen at least). This action doll is fully poseable just like a real human. I’m not a doll preson so I don’t know much about doll, but I think it looks so much better than those ball joints doll out there in the market. Btw, S.F.B.T-1 stands for “Special Fullaction Body Type-1

This reminds me of the Master Grade of those Gundam models which has joints up to the fingers. But this is certainly some advancement in the area of dolls.

This doll is SO awesome, I’d use it primarily for artistic poses. It has over 80 parts to it! O_O!

It would be nice if it had a thin layer of skin to cover all the joints.

I don’t know what to say, it reminds me of Body Worlds, which I’ve visited last week.
