SEGA is going to release the Hatsune Miku ( 初音ミク ) Miyagawa Takeshi Blue Ver. ( 宮川武氏原型ブルーVer. ) 1/6 Prize figure from the popular singing synthesizer application “Vocaloid 2″ by YAMAHA. Will released in the thrid week of April 2010. Around 240mm tall, 1,500 yen (tax in)

Finally the Miyagawa Takeshi ( 宮川武, from T’s system. ) Hatsune Miku 1/6 Prize figure is announced!!! I told myself I was going to pre-order at least when I first saw her in the 18th Prize Fair. But sadly the Japan yen is too strong now (US$1=80 yen as of this moment) I can only afford one. =(

This Miku is huge for Prize figure! Usually Prize figure is only around 1/8 scale, but this Miku is 1/6 scale!! I wonder if the UFO catcher is strong enough to catch her. Btw, the first three images below are the original GK by Miyagawa Takeshi in WF2008 [summer]. 100% sure the SEGA Prize figure will not looks as nice as that.

The other images are by a regular modeller たぎすけ on [fg]. The SEGA Miku prize figure will not looks like the one from Miyagawa Takeshi but should be pretty close to this one. Since the quality of prize figure is really unpredictable, but I cross my fingers that it will turn out nice.

      So, the last photo, it won’t turn out like that? Well, even if it does look nice, not really interested… I don’t want two figures with the exact same pose, GSC Miku has the same…

      I don’t know, I really liked it when it was first announced, but I’m kind of liking the Max Factory one better… I still want a Miku figure, but I don’t know what one I’ll buy in the end!

      (Guess I need to decide soon before they’re gone for good!)

      I think the blue is cute. The low price also puts this within my budget. I’ll definitely be getting this.
