Macross Frontier Ranka Lee Nyan-Nyan Set 1/8 PVC figure by Megahouse
Megahouse is going to release the Macross Ranka Lee Nyan-Nyan Set ( マクロスF ランカ・リー娘娘セット ) from the anime “Macross Frontier” ( マクロスF ＜フロンティア＞ ). The Nyan-Nyan Set includes Excellent Model Ranka Lee ( ランカ・リー ) Nyan-Nyan Ver. Blue ( 娘娘Ver.青 ) 1/8 PVC figure and Character Fortune Ranka Lee China Ver. Blue ( キャラフォーチュン ランカ・リー 青チャイナVer.) Will be released in December 2009. Around 200mm tall for Ranka Lee PVC figure, 25mm tall for the Character Fortune Ranka Lee, 8,000 yen (include tax and shipping). Mega Trea Shop exclusive.
I didn’t watch the Macross F anime so I don’t know what color of Ranka’s china dress is, but I think this blue one looks nicer than the original red one. The blue dress fit her hair color better. =]

I agree, the blue dress version looks much better. Even though i like it, i always go for the original colors in figures :/
I wish some company like Megahouse would release a proper 1/8 Ranka and Sheryl with concert clothes already… NOT the Sheryl that was out in August or the NA version – the purple one with the corset we saw a couple of times.
They were both released as Ichiban Kuji figures and were suprisingly very, very good according to the reactions but Ichiban Kuji is very hard to find and afford for me ;;
By the way, you should check out Macross Frontier, i’m sure you’d like it ^^ You don’t have to know all about the 25-year-old saga either, cause what you need to know is always explained.
Mmm red may be the anime color, but I think blue suits her better as well!
