Kotobukiya is going to release the Shikinami Asuka Langley ( 式波・アスカ・ラングレ ) Plug Suit Ver. ( プラグスーツVer. ) 1/6 PVC figure from the Neon Genesis Evangelion movie “Evangelion 2.0 You can (not) Advance” ( 新劇場版エヴァンゲリオン「破」 ). Will be released in October 2009. Around 220mm tall, 6,800 yen.

This Asuka figure looks really great. Both the sculpture and paint job are A++. I love the paint job so much, I think it’s over the Kotobukiya’s standard. I would love to bring her home. But my per-order list is really full for Aug and Sept, I hope still have enough $$$ to get her in Oct. (@@.

      I’d like to see a figure of Asuka with more of that stubborn, overly competative, super ego attitude your used to seeing her like through most of the anime. Not this staring off into space look. She’s one of my favorites but where is her bitch look.

        Yea so many of her figures have such blah facial expressions…For most characters thats ok, but for someone like Asuka who shows so much of herself in her facial expression it’s downright criminal to keep doing this…

      This figure is owned nice will have to get it and my oct list seems to be piling up lucky it me b’day in oct :P Although I would have to agree I would like to see asuka in a school uniform with an angry expression there arn’t any good figures of her in school uniform im sick of these gothics and bathing suits its getting old for me.

      I keep looking for a good Asuka figure. Perhaps this may be it, perhaps not. I think her bum seems too larger or something. At least in other pictures I’ve seen. Perhaps it was just angles.

      I need a good ’set’ of Rei/Asuka/Misato figures.
